A fella was telling me how a can (375ml?) of Coke in the UK is set at and has printed on it , 69 pence. Reminds me how I arrived parched at Circulay Quay in Sydney and invested in a can of Coke. Two bucks, in 1992 !! Can still get them in bulk, on special, non chilled, non individually stored or served up at about 50 cents each
So, UK members and others around the world, or those who have been around and remember - is the above true in UK? And how much is a can of Coke, room temp or chilled in your region?

It varies greatly, vending machines $1 cold, merchants have sales that can yield 12pak's for 2.99. Dont understand the popularity of this stuff, not a thing thats healthy for a person...basicly liquid junk food

It's LIQUID GOLD

Texas Tea

An American friend I work once told me that Coke is like diamonds (in value) and any girl would prefer to recieve Coka Cola than a diamond ring

Funny thing.. he's not married and never has a steady GF

:D:D:D
As for the price of anything food or drink.. I found Australia and Japan to be the highest in the world

We get hosed here on soft drink prices. In the US, cold 355ml (smaller than our 375ml) are between 50c (home-brand) and $1 (premium), and the larger buddy-bottle size (500-600ml) are about $1.50 from memory. That's in US dollars, so add about 10% for AUD.
I remember my first trip to the US (1996) where K-Mart had their American Fare (equivalent to our Australia's Choice, AC brand sold at K-Mart) were 25c vs I think 80c back home, cold, from a vending machine...
From supermarkets, a 6 pack of the smaller cans (200ml?) are 99c for the home-brand and $1.99 US for the name brands (Coke, etc)...
In Mexico, which has the highest per-person consumption of soft drink in the world, a 500-600ml bottle is $10 (about $1 US, or $1.15 AUD).
From memory, Canada is in line with or a little higher in price than the US.

Central America has a real Pepsi or Coke rivalry, Coke drinkers sit in one corner, Pepsi the other! Better check their price....

Woke up a mate (having another siesta?) to find out that a can of Choke in El Salvador ranges from US 40 cents from street vendors to US1.50 in chains such as Mickey D's and KFChook (and wished him a Happy Birthday at same time.

I'll bet it is, I recall watching a televised race where they all ran rear engines ( dont recall what series...wasnt indy ) and it was common for the crew to pour Coke on a badly slipping clutch..
