Man, these guys should try ebay. I have ben looking at old, used trailers, using new as a measure. 6x4 heavy duty new in Sydney at the manufacturer is $800. His nearby agent has same for 990. I would save 90 in the end by going to Sydney. May as well buy locally and work the extra hours it would take to drive to save resulting 90 bucks.

So, ad reads old farm trailer, needs work, lights, rego, good condition $150. Sitting next to it is a nice 7x4 he just paid 200 for. I'll pass on the 150 item thanks. The farmer is more a steptoe than I, figure he removed this rusty piece of poo from someones yard for a small fee.

Next trailer at 350. About 15 years old, some surface rust, no rego but ready for it. In good condition. Drove 40km to see this over 21 year old piece of light duty crap that yes had lights, some surface rust that hammertone will take care of. BUT there is more....freakin holes where the rust used to be, more holes than freakin trailer! Mate, this was ready for scrap last week, and I suspect this guy drove a scrap truck monday to friday. As soon as I said I was not interested as new heavy duty is 800 the price came down to 300. Stick that in yer fibbing rrr's

I have come to the conclusion any trailer for sale is destined for scrap and just whack a newy on the old Mastercard
