bloody malware strike

well for the last couple of weeks Ive been fighting a rather annoying bit of malware / adware in Firefox none of the programs that are supposed to fix this problem did (spybot malwarebytes AVG etc)
it was redirecting my searches to anything but what I needed and when ever I was getting close to a fix money was involved (which just makes me more determined to fix it myself) today on the verge of having a firesale (smash hard drives with hammer and start again expensive but most gratifying) I had one last search and just before I got redirected from the page I was viewing I, so I switched to Opera to get to the page and found the fix
http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_fo ... tId=274187
so if anyone else is having this problem here is the easiest solution and while you are doing this search your registry for mywebsearch I was rather unimpressed with the result as Ive never installed this toolbar yet there it was in the registry
a little calmer now
