G'day fellas,
I wanna hear your side of story where you store your power tools?

Currently I have two shelves of power tools sacked each other over the top, it really annoyies me if i need something, something falls and gets damaged or something whatever I need them.
At work they store power tools via a knot at the end of the cable and hung it up, but it damages/pulls the wires out - dangerous but my boss like that & he doesnt want locate them so cant do much about it..

I just wanna know how you store them?
Cheers

I made a shadow board for my old workshop
a place for everything , and it's immediately obvious if something was missing. A couple of screws or clips in the right place and you can hang anything
I have less power tools these days and just use a couple of the cheap plastic tubs on the shelf ,
Cheers

I think it's a case of how you can organise what tools you own.

I have a place for everything I own, and I know where it all is. ;)

change room locker found for variable prices in used market, one, two or three door. Paid $40 for my first one! How much you pay for a smallish toolbox? Fit it out with own mods. Actuall lowered to the floor the bottom cabinet and cut a smidge off my cheapy drill press centre post so I can get it in there and forget I even have it :) Got another to store those plastic tubs that just fit in it, store a lot of small bits clean or dirty. Car parts taking over.....
