Just had a phone call from a Canadian backpacker in Cobar who's blown up his autobox in a 1992 L series gl wagon
So I'm just putting it out there if anyone know of such a box near to Cobar NSW*
If so please drop me a pm or email*
I have advised said backpacker that under no circumstances should he hold his breath

2WD or 4WD??
From memory.. the MY and L had very similar boxes but you just needed to swap parts over to interchange.

shame you can't just fill a flogged out auto with light engine oil to get it to at least move reliably from town to town, otherwise there is a cheap 92 L Series in Cobar
