Yeah I did!

Stoked, I too possession of it the other day, will get pics this arvo and post them up. Probably a bit late in the season to do anything with it but we'll see

take the ski lift up to the highest snow you can find and play with the groomer take photos of your creations

A snow groomer moves snow around up the front while "grooming" it with the tiller out the back, that's the yellow thing in the back of the above pic. This smooths the snow out, leaves little grooves in it and is great for skiing on.

If snow grooming didn't occur most people would struggle to ski as they're conditioned from the beginning to ski on groomed runs. Skiing off piste or in the back country is a very different ball game compared to the groomed runs, especially if the run has been skied before you have been there and it's re-frozen, not a lot of fun!

I got some pics of it this evening as I got back late from cleaning up the shed and doing the last little bits on Ruby Scoo.

Ok, so all I need now is some "Piston Bully" stickers and she'll be complete:

And her real size, me for comparison (still in my shed gear after finalising stuff on Ruby Scoo today):

I knocked it all together in 3 hours including having to do stuff for work in between. I thought the instructions were pretty "spell it out" basic - but then I looked at the age bracket this was designed for: 9-16yo! And there were about 5 pieces that were what I remember Lego Technic to be, all other parts were either new or a new colour compared to what they used to be!

Yep, that's what happens when you're bored at work with the internet available... Bloody fleabay! It's awesome though so I'm happy, kez thinks its funny so thats great too!

So, who thought I got a real snow groomer??

Lego men employees can't be too hard to come across, or maybe even some Smurf characters. 1111giles managed to get a photo of Barber Smurf and Wheelbarrow Smurf - I'll see if I can find it. when I saw this thread I was going to post a lego technics version or an RC photo but finding a photo I could link was beyond impossible.
