saddest time in my life

Post by dibs » Sat Dec 10, 2011 7:49 am

hi guys
its been a wile since iv been here due to work and other stuff . but a BIGER other stuff has struck its ugly head up in our way . 2 1/2 mths ago mrs dibs my wife was diagnosed with cancer in her groin . after some quick thinking and loud noises at nambour hospital . she was operated on and they removed an egg size tumour from her right groin . after an anguishing head f*(&^d 2 weeks we were told it was 2nd stage melanoma that cut is 140 mm in her groin . now she has to go back and have another opp strating halfway between her knee and hear hip they will start to cut again and this one will be about 5/600 mm long .
since this has happened we have realised how short life can be and how cruel it is sometimes .hey if i break a car or truck i can usualy fix it but this shit is realy up to god (if he does exist ) . all we can do is hope for the best and prepare for the worst . i know theres alot of people out there rooting for us and have offered help when we need it and all i can say is a BIG thank you .
there is probably other people out there with similar or bigger problems and i do feel for them .
all i can say is live life to the fullest life's to short

i will update as things progress

Very well said. It's things like these that make me think the problems we have day-to-day are so small and insignificant...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Regards,
Pedro.

Sorry to here hope every thing goes your way with the ops and hoping for a fast recovery. it seems like more people are getting the big C the brother is recovering from prostate cancer and one of our friends has stage 3 breast cancer. i just had the blood test for the prostate and it came out clear would recommend having a visit to your local doctor and getting the test done on a regular basis

Do your best to be there for your wife through thick or thin but remember to take care of yourself as well. You won't be able to help your wife if you are unable to help yourself.

I only just found this thread. So sorry to hear of your problems, it really is a reminder how fragile humans are. terrible timing just before xmas but as has been mentioned at least they've found it & now she can be trteated & make a full recovery. My heart goes out to you, your wife & family & friends. I wish Mrs Dibbs a full & speedy recovery. Keep positive, the mind has amazing powers to heal if kept positive. Good luck mate...
