FIFO is Fly in Fly out. normally it is 4 weeks on 1 or 2 off, some people are lucky enough to get 4 on 4 off, I myself am looking at 6 on one off.

It is a big one to weigh up with 3 young children, but this is why Im doing it :)

Good stuff mate!

Got carry on luggage allowance for PJ? If so at least you'll have something to do in your down time - don't worry, sleep is overrated anyway an old mate kept telling me ;)

All the best with it!

Cheers

Bennie

PS, Paul, if I'm about to tell you something when Mum's the word, remind me not to :p

I'm a teacher :)

I will be an all rounder at the camp and building site, so if something needs cleaning, removing or even fixing. I will be in charge of it.

Just call me Chief Broom.

BWAH-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Sorry, couldn't resist. Lots of holidays - become a teacher and find out the real truth! And also find out how little teaching jobs there are to fill! I've run out of jobs to apply for now, which means no fulltime position for me this year :(

I should have got a trade!

Cheers

Bennie said it all ... not to mention the utter rubbish (board nanny function won't let me type swear words) secondary teachers have to put up with from "young adults" AKA mindless dropkicks who can't go a second with out a mobile phone, a computer and a gaming device of some sort.

I got sick of the constant swearing (mostly from young girls mind you) flippant attitude and many other behavioural problems associated with teaching secondary students.

I have even had a primary student say "F off you fat old C" when I broke up a fight between him and another boy. It wasn't one of those poofy slappy fights either, it was as good as watching Ali and Frasier go at it.

Tools, buildings, brooms and piles of rocks don't answer back unless you are on really good drugs. :)

Congrats Jules.

45 degrees sounds about right on site, and about 70% humidity. Still, you could do much worse.

Wanna tell us what you'll be constructing?

Dane.

I would like to say an excuse to stay out of the heat but ...

The company is building three 10 storey towers in Karratha, I will be making sure the camp doesn't fall apart :) and fixing things as needed.
