Myself, and a mate of mine also on this forum (made24x4), will be in Adelaide from the 22nd to the 27th of Feb competing in the National Mountain Bike Champs at Eagle park and we require transport. The main reason we can't hire a car is because of our age, being under 25 and trying to find a car big enough to hold a couple of bikes is almost imposible. And then even if we do, we are subject to a $100ish young drivers Fee. Added on to this is a hire car cant be taken off a sealed road and the parking is down a gravel track and most hire cars have a strict km limit on each day (however this shouldn't be a problem this time).
An L series (actually a lib wagon or MY wagon would also be fantastic) would be pretty much the perfect car for us to use, so we were wondering if someone had one lic and running we would be in a position to borrow. we will make sure the car is returned in the same condition as it left, except for possibly carton of beer in the back. we would also be more than happy to throw 75 bucks each your way
.we are both very familiar with the cars, made24x4 has an ej20 L series and mine is in the process of copping an EJ22
. That said, we really dont want to take anyone ones pride and joy so an old bomb parts car that still runs and is lic would be tops 
so if anyone could help let me know.
