Car drawings.

Post by mr_sp33 » Tue May 15, 2012 8:48 pm

Hey lads.

There was a bit of interest in getting me to draw some pictures of members cars so i thought i would put together this thread and keep everything in one place.

I'm a 3rd year Industrial Design student, so drawing is a pretty solid hobby of mine. Here's a couple of examples of previous works:

Currently drafting up a website, so not doing any more drawings at the moment... Appreciate all the support from everyone so far!

I'll draw the picture and show you a preview like the ones above, if you don't like it you don't have to buy it - i'll just keep it for my portfolio.

The pictures are drawn on A3 paper, you can use the above pictures as a reference of how much of the page it takes up.

Any questions don't be afraid to ask!

Cheers,

Steve.

Great work Steve and I shall spread the word ;)
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

Hey, I just noticed you put too many wheel nuts on the drawing of your own car! Give yourself a refund!

:)

Sorry, been doing extensive proofing at work, it's hard to switch off. ;)

How about this angle but with the wheels level (dropping the rear wheel to suit the same gap as on the front), with an empty roof basket( not sure if with or without the basket would be better, what do you think??) and without the flag pole:)

P.s keep the scoop and if you can add the little triangle bottom rear door trim things like yours:) I found a set on in the US that i'm getting soon:p

And add some seagulls and a shark surfing the wave and a helicopter rescuing a drowning man, maybe some dolphins jumping in the background too.:lol::lol:

Looks good, i reckon it would be rad with the basket. I'll give it a shot. Maybe we could do a trade for that trim piece i'm missing, hmmm? :P
