I find it interesting that Ken Block gets a script writing credit at the end. It is more of a coreographed peice then scripted.

He might only be 7th in the US National Rally scene but I'm going to bet he can drive a sh*tload better then you can... even in your dreams

But I guess with comments like that you're inciting a response from us.

i never compared him to me. Compared to someone like Sebastian Loeb he is rubbish.

Block is just lucky he gets many takes in a fully choreographed production like this. In the rally scene they dont get any second chances.

Im not hanging shit on him, im just saying hes not the best driver in the world!

He doesnt claim to be. He just makes an entertainment video that most people get a real kick out of. Yes, loeb makkinen and gronholm are better but they didnt make awesome videos.

who care if he does 100 laps to get it right, of couse it is carefully edited to make it look fantastic. thats the whole point of the video ... as remembering it is an ad for the DC company who is one of his his main sponsors.

I for one would love to be in the passenger seat for the whole filming.

he was a co founder of DC shoes which Quicksliver bought in 2004
DC Shoes is an American company that specializes in footwear for extreme sports, skateboarding, snowboarding as well as snowboards, shirts, jeans, hats, and jackets. The company was founded in 1993 by Ken Block and Damon Way, and is based in Huntington Beach, California. DC originally stood for "Droors Clothing", but since the sale of Droors Clothing (which is now defunct), DC no longer has ties to Droors and is simply DC Shoes.

On March 8, 2004, DC Shoes was acquired by Quiksilver in an $87 Million USD transaction. DC Shoes moved from Vista, California to Quiksilver's headquarters in Huntington Beach in 2010.

another bit of trivia from the wikapedia vault (I didn't know he was a co founder)
