L series door adjustment

My drivers door on the L series is rattling.:???:
On other cars I have had I could loosen (usually) the door latch on the centre pillar and via elongated holes move the latch to where I wanted to and retighten.
I dont seem to be able to do this with the L series though.
Neither can I loosen and move the latch inside the door.
Is there some other way to pull the door inward a bit. I can pull on the door handle while driving and all wind noise and rattling stops.
Frustrating

Perhaps rather than the door you need to adjust the glass? There are bolts on the door for the window channels which allow you to move the glass in or out... Just a thought.

The latch on the B pillar can be moved - but be aware that it can also move down too.

I've still got to get my doors right - just need the motivation to sort it out. Some of them are a bit catchy and require a hip and shoulder at times :(

Cheers

I hate adjusting doors, mainly because I don't know how to do it properly :? My driver's door has never been the same since I had to replace it; now you have to lift it up slightly or slam it to get it shut. The rear is slightly lower than the front :(

Loosen the latch on the B pillar slightly then tap it gently with a hammer (towards the car body) close the door and see if the door is tighter on the rubbers.

As for a sagging door open the door enough to get at the top hinge, jack the door up until it lifts about 3-5mm ( don't go nuts as the door will lift the car) then loosen the top hinge only, it should move inward (a little) and upward tighten the top hinge and close the door (once it is off the jack) you may need to repeat the process until it looks correct and closes properly.

Sorry, I should have replied sooner.
I did find if I got off my lazy butt and made an effort that yes, the centre/B pillar latch does move.
Thanks for all the replies.
