Really? Com'on Steptoe! The US certainly got the dual headlights on the MY's. The got them on the wagons, the brumbys, the coupes and they got them on the hatch too - because they got the hatch!! They even got them on the L series which is where Guyph got his from ;)

I don't know about the UK, Giles might be able to fill us in on that. He might have one now if his half cut was a dual headlight setup - I can't remember if it was or not.

Cheers

Mmm. shoulda made more like it !! (but maybe in a different colour)

It does look like the rear window from the wagon tailgate has been used and may have dictated the rest of the works shape

Also like the dark metallic grey Brumby and its front side indickator moved to the bar instead of another hole in the guard . Looks FAT !

They were on to something with that L series ute! but the way the rear pillar meets the door glass is odd since they had to use normal doors. And the rear glass as well. Somebody was enthusiastic though :o

This is what I'd love to do some day, but not as shiny - don't want to attract attention from the wrong people!

I think I've seen this before. While I like the idea I think as others have said the B pillar needs to be further refined. I'm thinking the rear window/C pillar from a sedan would sort this out, it just needs that extra little window like the old falcon utes of the '90s.

Good pick up Jonno! It's even got the rear window brake light in there - looks like the usual factory fitment...

I reckon that's a US thing - but I could be wrong!

I both loved and laughed at these when I saw them in Japan.

People in "Rural" Japan love these things, and so, so, so many of them are used in conjunction with a Pop-top and as food vendors. They're seen with things like, "GIANT OCTOPUS BALLS" written on the side. (Think deepfried garlic/octopus/breadcrumb things the size of golfballs) Good in the snow!
