Love it ... :)
This is what I'd love to do some day, but not as shiny - don't want to attract attention from the wrong people!

I think I've seen this before. While I like the idea I think as others have said the B pillar needs to be further refined. I'm thinking the rear window/C pillar from a sedan would sort this out, it just needs that extra little window like the old falcon utes of the '90s.
steptoe wrote:It does look like the rear window from the wagon tailgate has been used and may have dictated the rest of the works shape
Good pick up Jonno! It's even got the rear window brake light in there - looks like the usual factory fitment...
steptoe wrote:Also like the dark metallic grey Brumby and its front side indickator moved to the bar instead of another hole in the guard . Looks FAT !
I reckon that's a US thing - but I could be wrong!

Glad those stayed in Japan! I totally agree!

I'd like to see one of these enforce speed these days!

I both loved and laughed at these when I saw them in Japan.

People in "Rural" Japan love these things, and so, so, so many of them are used in conjunction with a Pop-top and as food vendors. They're seen with things like, "GIANT OCTOPUS BALLS" written on the side. (Think deepfried garlic/octopus/breadcrumb things the size of golfballs) Good in the snow!

Only in the US  And I can't believe it still ha a Subi engine and CV's! When they go that high they usually butcher the whole thing into live axles and what not.

They didn't - it's a custom job that was done in the 80's by coach builders. Notice it's in the US? You probably won't find anything like this over here :(

Shame it's in a parts yard.
