I seem to recall from one of my earlier threads regarding L series paint codes that FROG had a picture of his L series with a sticker on the rear window that said
AUSUBARU.COM
I also seem to recall there was mention that these stickers had been organised and purchased some time (years ?) ago and there were none left.
I was wondering if there was enough forum interest to have these manufactured again. I am not one for stickers on cars but this one is different.
If there is enough interest I can follow up with suppliers I know and see how the cost goes.
What I would need though is some sort of specificaiton re overall sizing, letter style, letter size, colour etc to give to manufacturers.
Does anyone have these specs and can get them to me and how would interest be in having these made ?

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

Wow, didnt know there were so many variations.
I guess, in the name of "generalising" the plain AUSUBARU.COM sticker for a side or rear window would be the go. This would allow for all states to be able to use the sticker and if those of us with rear window louves want one they can put it onto a side window so it can be seen.
If there are no actual specs around could someone with a rear or a side window AUSUBARU.COM sticker please measure the length and height of the sticker. The suppliers come up with a font size to suit.
If anyone would like a different sticker "spec'ed" up to suit there state let me know what they are after and I can look into this too.

Take the text you want printed to a print/screen shop, tell them how big you want it etc and they'll be able to print you up what you need. You'll be surprised how little a couple of one off stickers will cost. It certainly doesn't hurt to ask.
I got a pile of shirts printed up for the Great Vic and Great WA bike ride, the shirts cost more than the printing
Cheers

SURPRISED is right ! Do it for fun (such as in my sig, or for other fun stuff) I have had it done for free by a next door at work , another time a guy put in 20 mins making it all fit on a card for me and wouldn't take anything for it. But as soon as they sniff it is for business ...man, should see their houses, boat and holiday home !El_Freddo wrote:TYou'll be surprised how little a couple of one off stickers will cost.
