Can I have a detailed technical explanation of how Xdrive works? Is it the same MPT clutch pack that previous models have used, but with selectable preset lookup tables to suit different conditions,.. or is it a new transfer system along the lines of VTD/DCCD?

Short trips is about all I do these days, so that kills off the prospect of a diesel.steptoe wrote:was talking to a guy who bought last yeasr Diesel Foz , mentioned DPF problems and he finished off by saying drive it hard, no short trips too often, blah, blah, it is all in the owners handbook apparently
Subactive, show us your subie
My days of driving from Brissy - Melb. or Brissy - Townsville are all but over, it's cheaper to fly and hire a car than pay the fuel bill.

While I am not a fan of constant advertising.
That Forester looks rather pretty - it needed a facelift as good as that.
Also, When do we get a new Brumby?

I reckon you'll find these same posts on other forums too.
I want to see a pic of their subaru(s) that have a history with him/her.
Sick of this type of advertising - this is really what it is when it all boils down.
Cheers
