I am interested in if Chrome paint has made any progress towards being reasonable or if it still goes dull when you touch it.
I am interested in painting a steel bumper but from experience years ago it did not keep its shine at all and marked easily.
Maybe coating it in a clear coat helps ?
Is there a better brand and type and a better method to apply it ?

Finish matches cap of the can - to quote John Elliott - "PIGS ARSE"
I've still got a dirty looking flat finish silver dipstick

I think the cap got a copper base coat

I think any paint will do for the chroming trick, just don't get the same result you might be expecting

Or has the propellant been changed ??
