MY Touring wagon dash mat

Post by Cliff R » Sat May 02, 2015 7:42 am

Anyone know where I can get a hold of a new dash mat for an MY Touring wagon brown in colour.
Or at least the correct part number.

They were an after market item, so there's nothing 'new' available now. NFI what the correct part number should be, as the one I had came with car when purchased.

You might be lucky to find a 'new old stock' one - best bit is to hunt around for one off a wreck. Alternative - get one made up at your local upholster ... ;)

Add : just did a quick search for one :

Found on EBay :http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DASH-MAT-DAS ... 5d3a6ae1f1

$40 - not to bad ( Black & Grey only though - may have to order for Brown )

The only way to find out if it fits, is to try one ... :p

Cheers, Bantum ...

I went through this sort of thing with an ebay seller a couple of years ago. May even have been the same one as in your ebay link.
What was frustrating was, the photo clearly showed the dash as being a Touring wagon (like your ebay link photo) and when I messaged them to make sure it was right, they said the photo was for display purposes only and had absolutely no idea on what a Touring wagon was. They tried to sell me one from an L series (they knew what this was) and a brumby but even though the photo clearly showed what I wanted they still had no idea.
I might try again via your ebay link and see how I go.
Thanks for the link.
