haven't driven a JZX80 2JZGTE powered supra, have you?
or even an SW20? or even a AW11?
(i'd like to see subaru make an MR car!)
i don't want to start a brand war here or anything, but lets just say toyota is much much MUCH better than what you think it is

Maybe I should have justified my comment by inserting "Toyota Australia"
What exciting Toyota's were sold in our market?
MR2 - maybe the Limited edition Bathurst model;
Celica GT4 - definately the Group a - not the standard;
Any of the Sportiva models - pleeeeeease!;
Landcruiser - for what they're made for, OK. Especially the old BJ40's;
Paseo - hardly
Although, I must admit, one of my most favourite cars of all times is a Toyota - the GT from the 60's - based on the design of the E-Type jag - just beautiful. A real collectors item now, too.
But lets look at mainstream cars - Corolla, Camry, Avalon, Echo etc.
My vote fo most boring (to drive and design) would be the Avalon, closely followed by the Camry.
So, sorry to all the Toyota lovers out there. I still get POed that we don't get the good models that some of these car makers produce. And now the rule changes to grey imports makes it even harder to get the good ones.
I was mainly thinking of the mainstream cars, or the sporty versions of them when I made my initial comment:
Holden SS, HSV's;
Falcon XR6, XR6 Turbo, XR8, FPV's
Camry Sportiva ........?
WRX STI;
EVO 9;
Skyline R32 (only one sold in our market new, I think);
Toyota ?
Anyway, that's what I think. Please feel free to add your opinions.
Cheers,
