Hmmm, very sensible choise of bike.
I went for a Suzuki RGV when I had my 250 licence, and somewhat wilder LOL.

Yeah i'm only new to road bikes and I've heard that CBs are the best for learners - bulletproof engine, easy to handle etc so I thought it would be the way to go. It gets along well enough for me!subanator wrote:Hmmm, very sensible choise of bike.

And yes it is in my lounge room haha. When i'm in Melbourne I live in a terrace house so I figured the lounge was the safest place coz i havnt got a lock or anything yet.

Not a bad choice for a learner their Timmmo.
Things to be aware of . Dont be afraid to make it rev,(its the only way to get moving on these things).
When you start scraping the foot pegs its time to go for something more sporty, they dont have huge footpeg clearance.
Hiway travel, this could get painful haha. the mighty cb has a tendancy to vibrate a fair bit at 100km due to the revs you need to keep it there.

They are cheap to run & maintain, fairly light & easy to throw around and yes the engine and clutch are very bullet proof ( ive seen these things making lots of strange noises like snarling cats from the clutch and they still work fine).
So have fun, Honda has allways been my choice
