This is a festival in Qld (Brisbane) that is held each year to celebrate the start of spring, it goes for 10 days and the start of it all culminates in 2 F111's roaring past at 700km/hr with afterburners going that creates a fire tail about 100m long it is indeed a spectacular sight. The pre fireworks entertainment is an aerial display by the Roulettes and a couple of Army choppers doing some high speed turns and dives.

The Fireworks goes for around 30mins which burns off about 3 tonnes or so of them. They are let off from Barges on the Brisbane River and from Building tops of the CBD as well as the Storey Bridge.

Tonights event, the first one i have been to was just great and i thoroughly enjoyed it. cant wait till next year.
