Ok who watched the Crikey tribute today and thought it was a very fitting way for Steve to be sent off

I only caught the ute part with John Williamson singing true blue. That sent a shiver up the spine

It was a good tribute, to be sure.
The best part was Bindi's speech. She did an excellent job - very well spoken/read for an 8/9yo. Her Dad would have been so proud!

Bindi's speach was the best and the sadest part of the whole thing, she is definately Steve's daughter.

The ute part got to me, only I think Steve would of chringed when he put the surfboard away. It could of done without the americans that knew him for 24 hours to have their say. But generally it was so well presented.
