Start breathing heavily and flipping out and yelling "GOD I'M F**KING STRESSED!". *Note: may also work to have a day off.

Jump up quickly and yell "SURPRISE!". Then, after they settle down, say "oh sorry, I thought you were someone else". *Note: if over the age of 43 and male, DO NOT TRY. Or you're a murderer.

Start groaning and indicate that you're sick. Drink milk and lemon juice together for added realism.

LOL I know a power station operator who did that on night shift and managed to get away with it - the boss tried everything to try get him sacked for it but there was nothing he could do.

thats INCREDIBLY lucky.

one thing I don't get though, is if I fall asleep in a work situation, I'll be seedy for a few minutes after. Your mate must have been a quick bastard to think of that just waking up from a power nap. I commend him.

Pity he won't receive the commendation.

Could work with Allah as well, then your boss would be scared that you'd bomb the place to the ground and you'd NEVER be fired.
