I'm back from a VERY whirlwind tour of Canada. I was in Edmonton for work, and had the chance to spend 2 days and 2000kms in the Canadian Rockies.
One of the highlights was riding in a massive 6x6 bus onto a glacier, and then getting out to walk around.
more here including some drivetrain shots.

Oh I nearly forgot. Here's a photo of a Forester next to 3 wild bears
I also saw 2 wolves, Heaps of Elk, Deer, Mountain goats, and a few Mooses.
Oh, and I ate Goose, and Caribou at a restaurant in Calgary.

welcome back. Is the crazy 1940s looking snow mobile a war relic of some kind or just old? or just odd
those bioware rackspace shots are rather crammed.. gotta wonder how they kept the servers cool enough. What were they for?

Family & I were up there in Aug 2000 beautiful part of the country.
We stopped on the side of the road to let my handicapped sister-in-law see snow for the first time and whilst she and my daughter were playing in the snow I spotted some bloody huge paw prints off to the left and made the girls make a hasty but orderly retreat to the car as I didn't want them to run and fall over.
Those paw prints were like a dinner plate and the claw marks were out beyond that by a good few inches I have never felt so glad to be getting into a car in my life.
Wife & I want to go back to the East Coast USA & Canada next year or maybe the year after as we have done the West Coast side and Los Vegas.
