just got my first bottle of this stuff, I reckon it beats mothers metal polish.

It comes with a caution : Results may be addictive :)

First tried it on an aluminium dinghy rail that looked pretty scungey, and holy cow the caution is correct - next rail !!

Got me brother to get me some at a particlular truck stop in Marulan, and the temptation got to him before he could hand over the bottle, it's not quite full . It is pricey but seeing results - who cares >> $20 + GST. Seen it on the 'net for nearly $40 tho, beware!

As name suggests , it is purple in colour in a clear bottle 355ml

anyone else discoverd this stuff - made in USA ?

yeh its probably really harsh which is why its so good.
from the metal polishes at my work they go from the weakest kitten, mothers, meguiars normal, meguiars next gen, then autosol is the harshest. this stuff may be even better than autosol.

generally truck shops stock it i am told. often find truckies get onto the good gear - that's same way i found rain X years ago. maybe i just like it coz it's purple. the purple stain is penetrating the white plastic lid !!

OK. done the comparison between Purple Polish and Autosol on two spokes of a mag , side by side. Same effort, same results. :)
