VS Commodore main pulley size?

Post by SuBaRiNo » Thu Nov 15, 2007 8:33 pm

This is about as off topic as you can get on a Subaru site. And belive me there is a method to my madness.

But does anyone know the OEM (factory) diamter of a VS Commodore main engine pulley? The google machine is driving me nuts trying to find it.

I can get the measurements but the pulley is at the workshop at the moment and wont be going there till next week... I think its the same as VN Commodore because I used it from VS on my VN once.
Are you thinking about putting it on Subaru eh?
Cheers

Com’n Dave, ya can not do that… is the search over? Does this pulley meet your needs?

Side note - I saw a large power steering unit on the side of the road this morning and instantly though hmmm wonder if Dave could get this to fit!?!?! Told ya I’d keep an eye out - LOL
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

My search for a pulley is infact over as of last night. I just needed the size of the commodore pulley to make some calculations.

Yeah got it... sorry mate... been a VERY busy week. Misses has just graduated and is now a qualified Doctor so there has been a lot of celebrations with pretty much everyone we know. And to top it off she is leaving for Italy for 7 weeks tomorrow so things have been kinda hectic.

I didn't want to pass the account details on till i knew i had time to send it as soon as it clears.

I know what it's like to pay for something and not get it asap. Next week i will get it all sorted though. However i doubt i can get to a post office to send it till next Saturday.
