Anyone tried one of these before? I have no clue if it is any good or not by those specs. I will use it for air tools and auto painting eventually.

you should just look at a cheap GMC branded compressor, even though they may be cheap in quality they have a two year warranty, most of the ryco and barbed hose fitting can be adapted to suit. the problem with those really cheap Chinese made items are they often the company which supplied the product bought it on a once off therefore they probably cant order another one in for you, even though GMC is a cheap company its well know and if you have troubles they usually fix it or replace it. just shoot off to the local hardware store and have a look. hope you find something.

Nah I can get it for about 100 cus I work at Mitre 10. I'll go talk to our tools guy and see what he says. He will prob be able to point out a good one. But in theory one with similar specs to that would be ok yeah?

It's 4.5cfm, you won't do much painting with that...

id reccomend atleast 50Litre tank, and atleast 150L/Min FREE Air Delivery.
with atleast 10mm hose and good fittings.
