Item: L-series Turbo Sedan
Description: The car is a 4GLTA, which was Turbo Sedan essentially the same as the RX but had a 4-speed auto. The car has now been converted to manual using a RX 5-speed box.
In 2007 the body work sanded back, checked for rust and resprayed in Subaru micra green. Only rust that was found was around the front windscreen, which was fixed up and a new windscreen put in.
In 2009 a low k’s engine was put in, I was told when I got the engine that it had less that 100k on it, somewhere around 90k. I have driven it another 10k on top of that. Before the engine was put in all major seals/gaskets/belts were replaced including head gaskets. The clutch was also replaced at this time.
The body has ~240ks on it.
Modifications:
WRX intercooler
Peugeot 505 gti alloys (15” versions)
Rs Liberty front seats
Blitz Dual turbotimer
2.5” exhaust from the turbo back
Previous owner replaced the suspension with KYB struts and springs, the springs are standard height but stiffer. The car handles well with this set up.
Sound:
Sony head unit, with Clarion fronts and Pioneer rear speakers, also a removable sub in the boot.

Set of 13” sunraysia wheels a
Original front passenger’s seat
A few spare parts/gaskets/turbo etc
The car runs well with no leaks. I have had the car now for 5-6yrs and it has been reliable and very enjoyable, it will definitely be missed,
At the moment the heater core is leaking and I have a new one that I will replace it with sometime. Also the ceiling is coming down over the back seats, not sure when I will get around to fixing that.
