I did drive past a First Gen Brumby for sale on the side of the road in Huntly, just north of Bendigo... was complete but the paint looked pretty sad. If anyone's interested I could take some snaps of it and grab the seller's details? I don't believe these come up too often.

1989 Subaru Sherpa

Post by sixstarlover » Wed Apr 27, 2011 2:59 am

Hi guys it is with regret i have just listed my 1989 Subaru Sherpa for sale in the trading post- Sydney.

I have been the second owner for 8 years and i love love this car. I am moving to Melbs with boyfriend to start a new job (car included).

The car goes on the smell of an oily rag (bout $30 is full tank, and at times has lasted bout 2weeks for Sydney city driving), Has started first time-every time! Is just 3metres in length: i have scored the best parks around InnerWest/city streets and when I pull-down back benchseat, the car is a 'Van' and I score the loading parks round the City of Sydney.

The Sherpa's are becoming the 'next' big boutique car (petrol, size, easydrive).

Huge Huge decision to sell: Its been with me so long. Happy for it to go with a Subu lover who understand the uniqueness/rarity of the car's parts.

Rego due 2/5.
$1200 ono

Please call me if interested: 0408707420
I know Sherpa's don't stay long on the market.

Saw an MY wagon for sale yesterday near Sarina, just South of Mackay, QLD. It was sitting in someone's front yard with $800 on the windscreen. Not sure of any other details.

This looks like it could be a good buy for someone in Victoria, although looking at the interior it's not an RX but a Turbo sedan that has been converted to manual.
