EOI 92 L Enduro in Brissie

Post by theclick » Sun Jun 29, 2008 4:38 pm

Up for sale is a 92 L series Enduro with an ea82 Carb.

I’m not going to pretend with this car, so what I say is what I know.

Engine and running gear:

230,000 orig km
Carburetted
Runs reliably and starts every time.
Burns no oil, runs cool, though heats up slightly over large climbs
Timing belts done 5000km ago
Clutch done 2 years ago
Cyclical lifter tick that comes and goes every 200km or so.
Reasonable oil leaks from what I think is the rocker covers (dripping down off crossmember near y-pipes)
Slight coolant leak from unidentified location
D/R 5 speed box, slight syncro issues on downshift to 4th, slight noise in indirects, otherwise good.
No CV knocks
Driven calmly, never thrashed (by this owner atleast). Does 9/100 on highway and 11/100 around town when last checked.

Body:

White, original panels
Original (I assume) bull bar stripped of paint to metallic and including rod holder. Slight bend but nothing serious. (Spotties not included)
Bumpers good
Most panels good, large ding on left front door made by a b**** who put a maccas bag with a brick in it on the road (kicked up), small usage dings on some panels.
Rubber surrounds in average condition, not matching
Slight rust in the bottom of the A-pillar as standard on L series.
Never been on the beach however (and that’s the truth).
Tow Bar

Interior:

Standard Blue interior, great condition.
Rubber pad under driver’s pedals slightly coming off
CD facia (does not come with stereo)
Retractable cargo cover in good condition
Electric mirrors
Working heater and good AC
Rubber seal on drivers door coming off.
Slots cut in both front and back for 6 inch speakers

Added features:

Half year old 2” cat back ‘supercat’ system with resonator (sounds nice, approx $220)
13” Subaru sunny style wheels on reasonable rubber (good nick)
Full all-round brakes just done including drums and discs (approx $500).
Timing belts done 6 months ago ($400)

Not Included:

Spot Lights
Roof Racks
Stereo

Condition...........................

Good, runs reliably and starts every time, over $1500 spent on it in the last year and half. Good pick for an ‘EJ’ conversion. With a bit of work im sure it could get a road worthy (if you are good at covering up the little rust spot)

Selling as is, because I don’t have the time or money to restore it to it’s original condition.

Location ..........................Brisbane East Side

Oh, also. I hold the right to withdraw this car from sale as there is a number of circumstances at hand here.

Thanks,

Andrew
