Nice car but I don't like the sale pitch he makes at the end there...

Cheers

Make an offer.. if it's going to need to be close to his asking price, then tell him he's dreaming

I hope you've got a small fortune to part with! And they're only 13's so not good for shoving an offroad tyre on :( But for cruising around town they'd look awesome!

32/36 weber on ebay one bid of 85 dollars so far

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/WEBER-32-36- ... 2a20682856

and what looks to be another one from the same seller 40 dollars no bids

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/WEBER-514-DA ... 2a20689316

would say with the DAC notation it is a 32/36 but it could be a 32/34 either way damn cheap. as well it has a water choke which is way better IMHO than an electric choke.

as well he has this little beauty

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/WEBER-40-DCN ... 2a20685ff8

care to drown your brumby or "L" then thats the carby to do it with and for 150 dollars it is going for a song so far.

so many others at the moment as well, some in pretty questionable condition

The rx5 is nice...

Those brumby wheels look good also, haven't seen them before in the crappy stud pattern we are cursed with. They look similar to superlites though seller says they are something different.

They're Panasport wheels, made in the States and now impossible to find and they're actually built for rallying.
I've got a set of 15" on my RX and when I bought them back in 1998 they were "cheap" at around $300 a wheel - a set for $103, well I might make the trip up from Sydney at that price.

L series Digital Dash

Post by nncoolg » Sat Aug 04, 2012 7:57 am

L series Digital Dash : http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ws/eBayISAPI ... SS:AU:1123

+ A US one, but it does have the kph switch.
- It would probably measure distance in miles but Im sure there would be something you could do with the gearing and parts from a AUS L series dash...
- Im not sure if these had an outside temp. display, if they did it would probably be displayed as 'F

not many of these in Aus!

My dream targa top

It ticks all the boxes for me:

Targa top brumby rust free (I'm ok with repairable rust)
Late 80's model
Original (this one has maybe been resprayed, lost the pin stripes from in the old photos)
and most importantly IT'S BLUE!!

Shame I don't have any cash for this at the moment - 6 months maybe. So slip by it shall

Cheers
