Hey matatak, this sounds like a good deal. When we were looking for a brumby earlier this year and late last year I kept coming up with this one. If you don't grab it you'll be kicking your self regardless of the drivetrain. So long as the body is in fair condition. Get onto that rust in the tray as soon as you can (if you end up with it).
Good luck with it, you'll love the targa, I am, even though its not my car... and i'm shoving a "sports" dash in it this week

^ Well, that may help you out a bit. If your mate doesn't want it, what's stopping you from grabbing it? I can see its screaming for an EJ22
You
know you want too...

Damnit. This time next year I'd snap something like this up in a second! *shakesfist*

If i could find something like that in QLD I'd buy it strait away
I only have the one car at the moment so doing a larger project can't happen without alternate wheels. Would be some fun though.
Cheers Chris
