Cheers, Bantum ...
I've been drooling over these, especially the block but considering the block may need a bore or a good hone at least as appears to be rust in the bores it seems a little expensive.

With ZERO k's on it, NO revolutions made by internal combustion I reckon this guy could ask whatever he wants.

I wonder how he got hold of these?

Cheers

I think in either case old mate is asking a tad to much, good thing he is open to negotiating. I mean $1K for a part time transmission, yes it seems brand new but are the insides like the EA81 block. If it was FT 4WD perhaps...

QLD : 3" MY / brumby lift kit $150

If I didnt need to rebuild the Tilt trays engine I'd be driving to South Australia right now :-( Anyone in SA got some space to keep this for month or two? Maybe I could get a permit and drive it back.....

I could assist - driveway under a cover - PM me (know Langhorne Creek well) and am 5 mins from airport

Think this car is well known from the SA Subie club - has had all sorts of motors over the years and been in primer for as long

I'm 99% sure this vehicle is owned by Justin35.

One of his threads here where he's asking what sort of price for it...

Cheers

Just made the call, oldmate bought it off Justin35 back in 2010. He's chasing around 3k. If it wasn't in primer I'd make a reasonabe offer.

Looks like it's in great condition, but 8k... Where did he come up with that number?!

That looks like the same model as I have - but this ones in much better condition though ... :)

The high price would because of its original condition + low Km ... :p

Add : What's the bet its name is Redback ... ?

Cheers, Bantum ...

Hard to tell from the photos if it actually is in good condition. After all it has clearly been resprayed red (non factory red too - if that bothers you!) the rear bumper is from after 1979 not a stage I, the tailgate is held up with a prop, all chrome trims are missing (rain gutter and lower body trim) and, sorry, but this happens all the time with this generation 89,000 Km? I doubt it! With only 5 digits on their odometers they turn over real quick!

GLWS to the seller but come on this is worth $3000 to $4000 tops...

Looks a bit like a pig with lipstick, IMHO of course! :D
