I have a good, tested and measured, viscous coupling for sale.
It is in good housings, ready to bolt on to the gearbox.
It is out of a 2000 Forester, but will suit Liberty and Outback of about the same years.
This is fairly easy to swap.
These are known for failing and new bits will cost $1200+
I can fit it for you, for an extra fee, if you send the car or the box, this is subject to inspection, as there may be other damage.
Any interest let me know or I will ebay it, for more.
$650 for the unit (with housings) only, let me know if you need it fitted, and can discuss costs.

Is this the centre diff or front diff? Do you know if this will fit a '97 Forester?

If its the front & will fit a '97, I'll grab it!

This is the centre diff.
It suits 1999-2003 Outbacks, or similar.
As long as it is the box without the inspection plate on top, it will suit.
It will suit the type without the inspection plate, but I would stick to the type with the inspection plate as they last much longer.
I also have the inspection plate type, that will be for sale soon.

Sorry I meant to say it will suit the type with the inspection plate, but the original type is better.
