I'm sure if you buy it one of the WA members will drive it to the Northern Territory for youbrumbyrunner wrote:This is bad.....very bad. Lucky for me you're in WA
I know if I could afford it the forester would be parked on the front lawn
mind you if I could afford it I could afford to buy a shed to put it in
Just recently there have beed a few "jewels" popping up on this side of the island, I wonder what else will "appear"
TOONGA
basically you get a txt from an unusual phone # ie +61 2 1042 3654.
saying interested in ITEM ......in ebay please email me details on (normaly gmail or hotmail style accounts)
you can not call number back
followed by normal emails requesting more details and after quick purchase, ask for best offer, normally happy with full price
they are OS an say will organise shipping
then email saying shipping company only accepts "western Union transfer" as they cant get to WU they have paypal you cost + shipping Cost + Ebay fee + western Union Fee +$.....
Followed by a very impressive, very real looking fake email from "PayPal" with a status: confirmed waiting shipping payment.
Basically they want you to transfer your own money to them through western union to pay for shipping payment and relaese fake palpal funds to you.
But they will just take the western union money and run.
I spoke to major fraud squad here and they said very common and as they are OS there is not much they can do
SCAMMING BASTARDS....excuse my french... they just wasted 1 week of my time
