members name is sort of girlish..... does anyone recall the UK DJ whose wife sold 'his' Lotus Elise in a , was it an 8 hour listing, must be gone this afternoon sort of deal and it went for only hundreds of pounds. Turned out she was alledging him cheating on her, the car was in her name anyway ????

Apparently It has been for sale and the car no longer can start!?! And been constantly stuffed around by time wasters..
I dont think they are advertising hard enough. I wouldnt give up lot of your time to wreck it because it could be weeks/months years before you sell the last part.

How much was the whole car selling for?

Sorry for not getting back to anyone before now.

The reason the car has not sold is because we are NOT advertising it as a RS because the vin plates say that it is not a RS. We have been stuffed around with this car since the day we bought it and unless we part it out it is worthless to us. We could have put as many stickers on it as we wanted but I would NEVER sell it as something it is not as I didn't want who ever bought it to go through the disappointment we did. ALSO not knowing the cars history because of that is a bit worrying as well so why sell that unknown off to someone else when they can put all these genuine RS parts into an genuine RS?
I am sorry that we have obviously upset a lot of people because of how 'nice' the car is and the fact we are parting it but we are doing what we think is right in this situation.

As of today the front indicators and boot lid are sold.
Will PM those who left replies in here for parts.

Need:
Bonnet
Front bar and reo
Headlights & indicators (I know the indicators are gone)
Possibly the frame that holds the top of the radiator and the headlights in (it needs drilling off through)
