hey all,
i have a rx turbo that i started putting the engine back together.... one exhaust stud stripped and it sat like that for a month now.

good points;

LSD
Disk brakes all round
interior is in really good condition
boost and temp gauge (after market)
gearbox shifted fine
fresh head gaskets
BRAND NEW tires on star style mags (really light) with correct nuts

bad points;

head lining isnt in
engine needs to be finished putting together, turbo/intake/heli-coil one exhaust stud
body is a bit rough (only bolt on pannels)

$1500 firm

From someone who owns something very similar - somebody buy it for a fun car to drive
Looks like a bargain just for the bits ...$400 for disc brake rear, $100 mags, $350 ?tyres and an interior that impresses 7 year old women to no end "ah, disco seats !"

Well Veni Vidi Emi , now to work out if I should get it going, or put the mechanicals into a MY.

Thanks Shuffbag for a really simple transaction and for the great chat about subis in general.

KEEP IT GOING!!!

Not many RX's getting around in stock form or in good condition. Only transplant it if the body's rooted due to the cancer they can have sometimes :(

Cheers

That is really good buying...

Back in the day
Rear disc set up ~$400-550

RX front seats ~$300

Interior door cards ~$50ea

Mags ~$500

EA82T $1,500
I could go on but would end up sounding like Grandpa Simpson ranting and shaking his fist.

Long live the RX
