If you care to post one I will definitely grab one.

If not I'm sure RSR will grab them when he sees this.

I must ask why didn't it work with your model?

$10 and ill throw it in a post bag. Which one do you want? Pm me your address and Ill post it and pm my bank details.

Apparently the 2000ish models are transition period, there are a lot of people out there that have issues getting the software working with these models. I couldn't make it work anyway. Ended up finding it had the plugs under the dash to read codes so used that method.

Damn AVG tries to delete the program when it runs, thinks it is a virus because of the script it runs.

glad the laptop I will use this on has no antivirus :)

Yeah, for some reason gmail wouldn't receive the ZIP because it thought it had a virus too, that is why I put a password on it. If you guys want the original CD let me know an address and I can throw it in the post. I used on Windows XP and didn't actually run the exe, just pointed the new hardware wizard to the right spot for the drivers.

Apparently teh virus issue is a common complaint.

"Please note, some virus scanners (F-Secure/AVG) have been known to flag up the VCDS software as having a virus. This is a false positive and is due to the software containing a keygen to register the cable. If this happens, please disable/uninstall your virus scanner and/or install a more reliable free virus scanner such as avast! or Microsoft Security Essentials. Our VCDS software is completely safe and virus free, and all other virus scanners confirm this. "

LOL.. I'm glad to see Avast gets a mention. Only issue I have with Avast is it slows the system down a lot.
