How much is he asking...?

Tell him he's dreaming.

Is it just me or does it look like it has done more work then 5200kms?

MPFI no less, looks like it comes with everything (except ECU?) and in good nick. For it's rarity I'd pay that much.

Each to their own but what a nightmare to work on? It must be me but the older I get the more simplistic I want things to be, less clutter, less confusion etc.

Looking at it again I dunno how I missed it, it has L series style power steering pump setup! Right next to an A/C compressor! Shame I can't have the same setup :(

Not that I'm still interested in boost myself but be interesting comparing output of this with a blow thru supercharger the latter more simplistic in my view with no lag etc.

But its horses for courses I suppose.

A bit over priced really, and the photos taken with a fish eye lens are annoying. Kinda reminds me of 'walleye' off 'Hotshots 1'.
Throw it in ya new wagon Tom, pick up a cheap fuel only ecu off ebay and let the fun begin.

with a "little modification" the "L" series power steering pump should be able to fit. you would just need to move things around abit on your engine :)

something like a microsquirt, megasquirt or a megajolt. as it has what appears to be the same dizzy and injectors as the MPFI "L" theoretically you could get it to run on a turbo "L" or vortex ECU that runs a similar dizzy.

Most aftermarket ecu makers offer a fuel only ecu option. Uses basically the same number of sensors but is easier to tune because the ignition is handled by a mech/vac distributor. Common use is on old motors like holden/chev and ford

 why can't cars like this exist in Adelaide? What a score, did the seller even know what he had? Or was he a mate/family member?

No idea how he got it, I got a text from him saying he found the car and bought it (probably without blinking) They are out there SB, lots of barns down this way :)

Nope not RSR, a local from Bunbury I know that owns a brumby which I dare say will be getting a lot of work done to it very shortly :)

Getting a look at it this Friday ... Wait for it!!!! a 1983 full import turbo wagon? with early 5 speed push button 4WD transmission, apparently called an AJ5 ???

WTF me thinks someone built this out of bits

Never knew they existed, even from OS markets.

$350, body in good nic? I would say if it is keep this thing original, these will hold good value in time to come!

Cheers
