Item............................... 1999 Gen 3 Outback
Description...................... 2.5l Auto
Condition........................... Average - 365,000kms !!
Location .......................... Geraldton - will be in Perth in 3 weeks
Price................................$3500
Contact ............................ PM or 0439 949 633
This is just an expression of interest really at the moment. I will be in Perth in 3 weeks and if I can get a fair price AND I can find something else to buy while I am down then I will let it go.
Car has no real issues - drive it to Perth regularly with no worries. But it certainly isn't 100% - clear coat on boonet is coming off badly, some trim wear and tear inside and a bloody great dent just above LHR tail light.
Good points are it has a SubaExtreme roobar and sump plate worth nearly $3000 new and 4 brand new tyres on nice 17" rims.
Cheers - Ken

Pity it isn't a manual I would consider selling the brumby (violent shudder) and the vortex (shudder)

Manual conversion isn't hard
Or I could sell you a VTD auto and LSD rear to go with it - better than a manual then .......

Bump it up - heading down next week and got a few cars lined up to look at.
If I find the right one would be looking at offloading this quick smart so make an offer and you may get lucky

OK now up for serious sale.
Bought a twin turbo Legacy wagon so the outback has to go. Will be down in Perth again end of the week to pick up the Legacy and will be selling the Outback while I am down.
It has started using a tiny bit of water and a pressure test detected a very slightly leaking radiator. The head gaskets were done a year or so ago by myself and Paul so they shouldn't be an issue.
Will take $2500 and not a penny less since the wheels and roobar would be worth nearly that on their own.

Meathead.. I can't understand why it won't sell

Maybe too cheap and some may think it has major issues.

Or maybe just because it is in Geraldton ??
Or more likely the 370,000kms on the odometer

If I didn't know you and saw the ad, I would think.. Oh a country car, so it will have higher kms but they are long run kms, better than a city car with less kms.
