Hey You Subaru Mob,
As a result of all work and no play I am at a point where I need to clear out old motor vehicles. So what’s on offer within this thread…

For Sale is an 89 RX Build Project.
Basically she’s an L Series Royal running full RX spec gear.
- Low km Jap import EA82T (about 85,000km) with WAIC from an RS.Engine has all new belts and leads and had very little use and is currently not currently running as timing needs to be set, BOV pipe requires completion and no battery.
- Lightened flywheel and new clutch kit (both unused).
- AWD 3.9 gear box and running gear.
- RX fuel tank and fuel lines.
- Body (white) has been fully striped down, cleaned, undercoated and painted with anti rust paint (white).
- EVERTHING that could have been replace has been replaced with ALL NEW parts, all new radiator, heater core and turbo hoses, all Polynothine bushes throughout, factory RX cv and steering rack both in good condition and genuine Subaru boots all round – you get the idea.
- A/C and P/S.
- 15” Superlights with 195/50 Nankang rubber with 90%+ tread.
- Fully adjustable Bilstein shocks in the rear and KYB’s in the front with low km King springs all round.
- Full RX interior (x2) all in excellent condition given their age - including seatbelts.
- Original RX boot lid spoiler.
- Original front lip spoiler.
- All RX mud flaps and spats.
- Has RX dash including RX AWD instrument cluster.
- Front end bull bar (replacement type - chrome).

Just so people know the plan was to restore this car to RX spec and use as a family road car. Given the car was for the family it had to be done properly, with good quality parts as it had to be reliable. Again, I am sure there are a few other things I may have missed however the above list would include most of the good stuff.

I am not keen to let the project go and the misses has been busting to drive in the RX again however the reality is that I think that its better if it goes to a good home as opposed to sitting collecting dust/rust.

Anyway for those of you that are interested the following links (showthread.php?t=9621) or (http://s254.photobucket.com/albums/hh110/Diane-Palmer/) contains some pictures of the RX build and some 4WDing shots.

Price is negotiable however I am currently feeling generous so there is a chance that I’ll accept any reasonable offer.

Note – at this stage its all or nothing sale as I am not interesting in parting this wagon out as I do not have the time.

I am not on here often as life is to busy so PM may not be the most ideal way to contact me. If your keen i would try emailing me = craig.allen@uwa.edu.au.

Cheers.
