Hi There !
Some of you may know of me and my car but I have not been around here for a while so I assume there's a lot of new faces that don't.
It has come that time in my life where I need to reorganize and clear out all of the things around the house and yard that don't get used as often as they should or to their full potential. Sadly my little brat is one of those things. He doesn't get driven as often as he should and I have decided to sell him to someone who will appreciate him and give him a better life.
His story - I purchased him from a young lad in Echuka 2008 for $3500. He and his father did a full body restoration and I saw pictures of proof. They also had a cd player and little subs installed under each seat. He is jet black. I drove him solidly for a long time and he never missed a beat. Since I have owned him I had the motor fully rebuilt. He has a manual 4 speed 1.6L (1595cc) 4X4.
I have full service history and receipts from the time I have had him and a copy of the advertisement that I purchased him from. I do not believe he has ever been in a accident (certainly not during the time I have owned him).
His bad bits - he has a couple leaks. If he is left out in bad rain, water tends to leak into the passenger side floor. He needs a new battery as he has been rarely driven over the last 18mths. The window winders do not match and the interior lining is cracked in multiple places. He does need some TLC.
Overall he is a great little ute.
If anyone is interested, would like more information or would like to make an offer, please pm me. I would be happy to discuss anything and I do believe I am realistic when it comes to negotiating a price.
He is currently registered however after just speaking with Vic roads and reading the for sale template I have had to update a bit here....
Vic roads told me that a car in Victoria that is being sold registered must also be sold with a roadworthy certificate. Otherwise I can take the plates off and sell it unregistered. This is something I am happy to discuss with anyone who may be interested.
Also - the car is located in the yarra valley, Victoria.
I would consider the condition good.
I believe I have covered all of the template requirements now :)
More pics posted shortly.
Cheers, Carlie

My Brat -
The plates that are currently on the car will NOT be sold with them. If it is sold registered I will be replacing them with standard plates before sale.
Now I am trying to attach pics, the forum is asking me for URL.. I don't know how to get my pics a url so if someone could help me with that bit I will get straight onto it?
Cheers

There is 4 pics of your ute in your profile, which can be seen but these are just pics of the outside and roughly all the same. You should be able to upload more to your profile.

I'd be very interested in your ute. I'm in WA and wouldn't require Vic rego.

Carlie! You're still out there.

And looking for a new home for your brumby :( I guess all good things must come to an end at some stage!

Best of luck with the sale.

I'm still on my old number if you want to call for any reason - I'm sure I've lost your number on a phone that's probably buried in mud out bush...

Cheers

Hi Again all ! I have a heap more very honest and current photos of my little scooby. I'm just trying to use photo bucket now.As previously mentioned the plates will not be sold with the car and the UHF wont either. The cd player and sub will (one under each seat) I have pics of the door trim cracks on the drivers side, the passenger side is still nice. Theres cracks in the dash A little ding near the front light and a couple lenses are cracked, the paint has started to crack and peel and there's also rust and bubbling in the sills. I am about to figure out how to load the photos and it's all in there.... Ok still not quite sure, hope this works -->

I really hope that works, it took me forever. After going through the photos and shedding a tear, Scooby's condition is probably fair - poor. He really does need body restoration. Also as said previously I had the motor rebuilt a while ago so that side of things is good.
Please ask any and every question you need I am happy to answer honestly. I do believe I have covered everything for now. He runs on unleaded or premium, no additives required.
Cheers, Carlie

I don't really have a price in mind but saying that I consider myself realistic. I know nobody pays for the "love" of a car. I'm open to offers.

It's a shame the rust has got in to the roof section :(

Yes, unfortunately that rust is quite bad and is actually affecting two different panels and the rain gutter.

Would not be an easy fix and if it is anything like the spare parts wagon I have, it spreads faster than you can blink...

Just a thought - that lime green of the UGly series would be a great colour for a MY Brumby :)
