Item............................... 89 L Series Wagon

Description...................... The time has come to downsize my subaru collection. This was my first subaru, which I bought in 2004, and have been a member here ever since. I've also recently bought an SVX and don't go playing in the mud anymore so it's time for the wagon to go.

Condition........................... Very good

Location ..........................Hobart, TAS

Price................................$2000

Contact ............................ reply here or pm

2" Lift kit - scorpion steering extension
kybs and king spring all round
rebuilt EA82 appox 20,000 kms ago
EA81 twin carbs
clutch pack rear LSD
factory EA82 dual range full time 4wd with vacuum centre diff lock - with matching dash cluster and switch
rear discs
tjm alloy bullbar
custom rear bar/towbar, with detachable rear wheel swinging carrier (not pictured).
Liberty front seats
215/65/14 road tyres on sunraysia rims

I've been collecting parts for this car for 12 years, with the aim of using factory EA series parts. I imported the gearbox, diff, discs, dash from an L series RX II couple from New Zealand.

I'm sure there are a few things I've missed, I'll get some more photos soon. Let me know if you want any more info. Car is not advertised anywhere else at this stage. I thought i'd give you guys first offer.

Cheers
Sam

I wish I had seen this when it was first put up. Applause for whoever had the good sense to purchase this package.

Commiserations subius. Parting with my '84 after 15 years was like a breakup where nobody was sure whose fault it was.

yeah it was sad to see it go. But the time was right. It was an awesome setup, the full time 4wd box with king springs and new kybs handled like it was on rails on the road, and those khumo tyres were unstoppable offroad.

It went to a good home, many more adventures for it yet I suspect.

Had the dash out when the last one was taken. Getting the automatic climate control repaired. All sorted now though :)

nice bit of luxury there - 72,000 bucks worth in 92 weren't they ? Yours looks to have been kept well all its life :) Gotta be happy with that !

Damn that is a nice SVX and the cooler climate in Tassie is good at keeping the rust bug at bay an added bonus as well.

She's got a photo of a skyline on her FB profile now. So she might have sold it. But certainly worth enquiring if you're interested.

Her FB post attached.
