Wanted EJ22 Manual ECU
I'm after an EJ22 Manual ECU.
I do know some one in WA has one for me, but I can't remember who that was sorry.
The reason I want one is that mine is from a 4EAT 91 liberty and I would like to try the manual ECU to see if there is any difference.
for reference a 1991 manual ECU

Don't think it was me but you can borrow one of mine from a Gen2 manual wagon.
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

I just realised I never said what series or gen
Mine is a series 1 gen 1, I would say as the scan tool tells me it is a 90-91 4EAT ECU

Im pretty sure Subarino would have done this, but it doesnt stop the scan tool from telling me it is from a 4EAT 90-91 model.

As per below, you already told us.. 91 is Gen1 and EJ22 was only available in the Liberty (unless you stole my blue car)TOONGA wrote:I just realised I never said what series or gen

for reference
the D5 is from the 1991 model and is in the manual sedan as well as the dual range wagon.

Ok Ive Checked this plug and it has a wire attached that has between 0 and .06 of a volt running through it.tambox wrote:Pretty sure?
Pin 20 on the second biggest plug or the third pin on the bottom row from the inside (next to smallest plug)end.
Should have no wire connected or measure 7v.
I have obtained what I thought was a manual ECU (this morning at the wreckers) Ive plugged it into the car and run the B10 scan tool and Im being told the computer is an 4EAT for a 90-91. (BOGGLE)
How do I get 5 volts to this pin? or 7 volts as Tambox stated (FSM says 5 volts for MT 0 volts for AT)
