Wanting ROll Bar for 1987 Subaru Brumby

Post by BRAT87 » Mon May 20, 2013 11:12 am

Hey,

currently own an 87 Subaru Brumby sports and I'm after a rear roll bar to mount a couple spot lights on it.

I live in Melbourne but would consider shipping if someone has something suitable in another state.

Cheers!

It will need a bit of work to get it pretty. If you're handy with a 5" Angle Grinder then it will come up a treat! When I'm home, I'll take some shots!

No. And there was another roll bar in Wollongong in NSW. I tried e-go couriers and they quoted $174. Freight is just so damn expensive!!!

If you can ship it depot to depot it costs bout half with e-go...just gotta get it dropped off at the depot their end & pick it up your end ;)

A word of warning with e-go...they are cheap but dont always do the best job. I've shipped items with them 4 times. Been happy 3 times but they dropped my alloy bullbar & scratched up the top & bottom :(

I pointed it out to them but didnt make a claim as its gonna get scratched anyway....

Go to an exhaust shop and tell them what you want, they'll be able to knock up any bar work you want to your specs.

Dunno what it would cost but there won't be any excessive freight cost this way ;) And if you organise to do it in their low work periods it could work in your favour price wise.

Cheers

Cheers mate! Yeah a couple people have suggested I do that. Might go down to the local place on the weekend and see what they can offer.
