headlight sorround

Post by ozbrumby » Sun Aug 18, 2013 10:32 am

Heya folks
first post as I am a fairly new Suby owner with a 1992 Brumby which is just so good to drive.
I am hoping a member can help me with some bits.
I was given a little touch up in the car park at the local shopping centre and the front right headlight shroud and indicator has been broken beyond recognition. it has the twin head light setup. Assholes is all I can say.
No message left or nothing
I need some other smalls such as
* window winder and the plastic base
* interior light cover
* fresh/recirc air knob
but the headlight shroud is the biggest.

Thanx

* window winder and the plastic base - these all fade with time (almost as bad as the doorlock surrounds) - I believe the only factory option that doesn't have the fading issue was the rare GL coupe/sedan chrome-trimmed units - very hard to find in any colour, but tan and blue are a lot more common than grey (I have never found a grey interior GL). Might still be available from Subaru (the doorlock surrounds are).
* interior light cover - I believe you can use the L series version, which gives more light
* fresh/recirc air knob - these always break. You need to get from a later series as the early ones have a blue colour centre.
1989 Brumby - Shiny new red paint, stroked EJ20 phase 2 SOHC with Darton sleeves bored to EJ22, Wiseco high-compression pistons, Delta 2000 grind cams , EJ/XT6 5 stud with WRX 4/2 pots, 5-speed, 86 GTS seats and so much more.
Contact me for reproduction XT6 hubs...and EA82 rear discs.
