wanted - L series wagon in Perth

Looking for this, or close as possible;

- L series 1989 or 1990
- Touring wagon (the one with the high roof, electric windows etc)
- White colour
- Registered
- Multipoint injected EA82 model
- 5spd dual range
- Good condition body (preferably A1 with no rust, dents etc)
- Stock standard without mods, although will consider one which includes mods

Unlikely to find exactly that, so will consider variant models, features etc. One with a rooted motor/driveline would be okay.

Let me know if you have one you'd part with or know of one forsale.
Can't find much like this on Gumtree, Carsales, Quokka etc at the moment.

yeah slim pickings. almost thinking it might be worth trying to re- register mine, it actually has slim to no rust. I hate rust :/ Pity Subaru never made them out of stainless like a Delorean!

Hi Andrew,i have an 89 touring wagon,white,straight,very little rust,interior is immaculate,all electrics work (including windows),aircon is nice and cold,mpfi ea82 was rebuilt at one stage and once its warmed up you can hardly hear it run its that quiet.
Downside is at the moment it needs the right hand rear wheel bearing done,i have the part,just have too many projects to do it.In 2 years all its done has been driven basically around the block to test the wheel bearing out.Also the fuel tank was taken out to put in my vortex,so there is a dodgy 1 half bolted in out of my old rx i sold off that is not connected up.
The car is in SA if you want it,oh and ive also replaced the front windscreen seal and it has RX alloys on it.Debating on selling up all my subaru stuff,i have Shuffbags old vortex,2 spare ej22's 1 spare ej trimmed harness,computer, and a ej25 dohc.Send over a truck and you can take the lot for $4000:p

thanks, I did actually consider this as I fly over to Adelaide quite often for work - I could have potentially driven it back to WA. But then with an SA rego I'd probably have to go over the pits again in WA any. The transport + pits headache etc doesn't make it worth it.

I've just bought a suitable one now anyways. Thanks for ppl's suggestions.
