I think replacement will be quicker and a damn site easier.

Very rare for the front crown wheel and pinion to go on the manual boxes but I woldn't rule it out. I'll ask arond the traps if you want another 4.11 gearbox?

No worries Peter.

Strange about those bits, you should have receive a card from Aust.Post by now to say there's a package to be collected. I do have the COD bar code at home, so I'll get Jayson to find it for me and I'll get back to you.

No worries Peter and happy to help out. I'm glad the parts showed up as I've had my son tear up the house looking for the receipt.

We'll something out later as I have a few of these cars and really happy to see more of them on the road. Saying this, I need to see proof pics of this happening :)

I'll definitely hunt this box down for you and let you know. Sometimes I just need a gentle reminder, as I don't have the best of memories.. probably has something to do with alcohol but I can't remember ;)

Morning Peter, Ok this gumtree ad is of an early WRX AWD gearbox. This uses a completely different clutch setup to yours. The WRX setup uses a hydralic clutch system. You could change yours over but it's not just a straight swap. Plus you'll need a completely new clutch kit.
