Update: I've found a Rear Bar and I am still looking for a Front bar.

Thanks, It's interesting that no subaxtreme front bars have come up on gumtree or ebay in over a year of searching. My theory is that the cars are over ten years old now and people are selling them without taking the accessories off. As an example it's getting fairly common to see SG Foresters sell on carsales for $3500 or less with a front bar. I am considering buying a cheap forester just for bar and then clean it up an resell for the same price with a replacement bumper. Done well there is potential to pick up the front bar for nothing.

Where did you find the rear bar?
try finding a second hand one for an SF! Ive bought numerous SF's for under a grand howwver I can't justify the price of a new subaxtreme rear bar for my bunky old SF.

It's a very special one made by an original subaxtreme owner for his own XT but never 100% finished before he sold the car. I picked it up from the second owner of the car who never fit it either. Now I owe a Bearded man at least one bottle of American Honey for his finders fee.
