Hey guys

I have just bought a uniden uh015 its UHF and scanner in one. What I am trying to find out what sort of arieal do you use with it will a normal uhf att work. I thought it would have to be a dual att like the monster from tandy buts its only 1.2M and I wanted a 1.8M one. So whats the deal a normal or a dual?

Also is it possible to run two att to one unit as in have a 4db and 6db hooked via a switch box is this possible?

Thanks

any switch in the coaxial feed will exhibit loss, for $ special uhf types are available.
I wondered myself what the deal is with combined scanner/uhf as the antennae is where its all compromised, do they have option of a separate antennae input for the scanner?
In any case I'd recommend getting the best for CB/UHF, then what you get over the scanner range is whatever....
I wanted a 1.8M one.
umm, u talkin uhf right??
CD900 on ebay is 6.5db at <1m, but it does need a very solid bar to mount to.
